The internet is a very different place now than it was in 2007 when SideReel first came online. The methods of keeping a free website in business have changed, involving more technologically advanced advertisements that can be seen as intrusive to the browsing experience. We're glad to announce that users can now see their profiles on SideReel again:

Simply click on the Settings gear at the top of the page (as shown above) and click on "Your Profile."

(If you haven't created a profile URL, you can do so in your Profile Settings under Account Settings in that same dropdown menu under the gear) 

In your profile, you will see your Tracked Shows, your Lists, your Rated Shows and the TV Show Reviews you've written.

Your profile can be set to Private so that only you can see it, or to Public so you

We're glad to announce that our fellow TV fanatics can now add their own reviews to shows and episodes again.

Now on TV Show pages and Episode pages, you can go in and let your fellow SideReelers know how you feel about the new show you're watching, or sound off about last night's episode.

You can mark your review as containing spoilers (so they won't show up for other users unless they click), and you can give a Thumbs Up to reviews you find to be helpful and those will rise to the top of the list.

A user pointed out that there are several shows with incorrect status. Most of them are likely shows that were "Currently" airing and now should be set to "Concluded"

Today on SideReel we launched the ability to rate your favorite shows and episodes on TV Show pages, Episode pages and in your Tracker.

Additionally, sorting your Tracker and your Lists by "My Rating" should be working like a charm.

We're still working on a number of tasks like list pages, user reviews, user profile pages and a number of tweaks and requests users have suggested.

Hi everybody. Today we rolled out our initial phase of Lists being available on SideReel.

When you log in and visit your Tracker page, you'll see a dropdown that contains your lists (displayed in the order you created the list, with most recent list showing first).

By selecting a list, you'll be able to see the shows in that list, and use all of the same filters and sorts (including "Hide Watched Shows") that are available in the Tracker.

Folks, I believe we have made great strides in getting the Tracker to be more useful in displaying the shows you are up-to-date on.

As of today's update, your tracker should be showing you only the shows that are available for you to watch, based on your watch events, and when shows are available.

NOTE: Please do not do any tracking, rating or reviewing in the old, frozen "cf sidereel" site. None of that new input is making it over to the current database.

Welcome to our brand-new user portal! For years we were using another service but they are shutting down so this is the place where you can submit requests, ask a question or share your ideas in our community. You can report problems or give praise, too!

• Fixed weird bugs around not being able to click the "Watch" icon.
• Clicking Watch on "Next Unwatched Episode" should bring up the next episode.
