Star Ratings for TV Shows and TV Episodes

Oh My Stars!
Today on SideReel we launched the ability to rate your favorite shows and episodes on TV Show pages, Episode pages and in your Tracker.
 
 
Additionally, sorting your Tracker and your Lists by "My Rating" should be working like a charm.
We're still working on a number of tasks like list pages, user reviews, user profile pages and a number of tweaks and requests users have suggested.

I just rated all my shows 'again' because most didn't carry over then the stars all disappeared again.

We think the stars are still there but not showing up properly on the page. Hang tight and we'll look into fixing the display issue in Tracker.

It's odd because some of them definitely carried over but others seem to be missing.

Pam: We're looking into the fact that your ratings aren't being maintained when you apply them.

Sara: Any clue as to which ones came over and which ones didn't? Did newer ratings appear but older ratings not show up? Or vice versa? Or were you maybe still rating shows on the temporary cf.sidereel.com site?

I never input any data into the cf site.  I've got a snapshot of the cf site from when it first went up.  I have no idea why some shows kept their ratings and others didn't but the following shows seem to have lost their ratings.

The Flash, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Good Eats, Grey's Anatomy, Last Week Tonight, Legacies, Lords and Ladles, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, MasterChef, MasterChef Jr, Nancy Drew, Outlander, Patriot Act, QI, The Resident, SEAL Team, Sherlock, The Simpsons, Station 19, Supergirl, Supernatural, Top Chef, The Umbrella Academy, Veronica Mars, Victoria, Years of Living Dangerously, Young Sheldon, and probably some others I've missed.

As Murderousandy points out below, it may be that the shows later alphabetically in the list are just not displaying on the page properly. I see, Sara, that the shows you list all are from the letter "F" and beyond.

We'll look and see if these shows are really rated in the database but are not displaying on the page.

Yea I noticed that.  Hopefully it's an easy fix. Murderousandy made a really good catch there.

Its only showing ratings on the first 20 shows in my full tracker (Alphabetically gets from 3% to The Good Fight) everything after that is blank. But if I tick to hide up to date shows then suddenly my Narcos rating shows up too. So they are still there, just not being displayed on longer lists.

Ah. Interesting. We'll take a look and see if the ratings are there but just not displaying after a certain point on the page.

I think we have this fixed now. Thanks for the help in tracking it down.

Any plans to allow deleting a rating?

While scrolling down in my tracker page, my fingers have unintentionally rated shows.  How can Reset them to no rating?

We're still working on the interface to remove ratings. We're hoping to have User Reviews live in the next week or so, and then moving on to the Profile area which will have more ability to interact with your lists and ratings.
