Highlight color
At least if you can't provide support for dark mode browser use right now, maybe consider doing something about the highlight color, like for track picks and such? It would be great if you brought back the symbol next to the track number, but even making the color not so washed out and a little more visible would go a long way.
I know I complained about this before, but I don't think I'm the only person with a visual disability trying to use the site and finding it extremely difficult.

add album covers to own ratings page
Would look much better with album covers, and it would be more enjoyable to show my reviews to friends when there is more than just artist and album name.

Display problems
Problem 1: The website new layout has its advantages, but also it made worse some aspects. For instance, everytime the "Collection" (inside users profile) is accessed, the standard display is "Your Rating (Highest to Lowest)". Although we have the option to change to other formats, every time you go back to Collection you need to set it again, this is very annoying. Personally, I like to see "Artist name (A-Z), but every time I need to change it back. Same thing happens in other sections are accessed, like "Ratings".
Problem 2: When editing a list (also in user profile), the

possibilities to change your business model
(I've always thought that your business model's fatal flaw is its singular dependence on a data vendor.) At least for content, would you consider adding content sources? If you don't want to directly hire freelancing editors to supplement your data vendor's content, then you can syndicate content from other music publishers. Otherwise, your growth is constrained by an independent business over which you have no influence.

Entry about Electro-Industrial group 'Abortive Gasp' ?
Wouldn't an entry about the electro-industrial group 'Abortive Gasp' also be interesting for AllMusic? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortive_Gasp

Add the date an album review was written
Hi, I'm a big fan of AllMusic and have used the site for years. One thing I've always wanted to know is the date an album review was written, to put it into context as either a contemporary or retrospective review, as critical consensus can change over the years. Is this technically possible at all? Thanks.

I would like to request reviewing 'Right Place, Wrong Person' by RM.

artists whose editorial coverage may have been dropped
When editors don't review two consecutive albums, I get concerned that Allmusic is dropping artist coverage. This request is to review artists who shouldn't be ignored.
Bonny Light Horseman is releasing a DOUBLE-album, and their prior one has been rated by 44 users. Only their debut has been reviewed though, and I always advocate against dropping coverage of a new artist after just one review.
(A monumental box set has been updated with an additional disc, but Allmusic didn't catch its new release. Despite the banjo's African origin, bluegrass is barely heard on that additional disc because it's historically rare

Missing album: New (2023) double LP version of album by Southern Culture on the Skids is not in your database.
Missing album: New (2023) double LP version of album "Liquored Up and Laquered Down" by Southern Culture on the Skids is not in your database.
Released on October 16, 2023, the 2 LP version of "Liquored Up and Laquered Down" with four "bonus songs" is available from their merch store -- online and at venues. Online purchases includes a digital download.
This would be an new "release" of this AllMusic entry: https://www.allmusic.com/album/liquored-up-and-laquered-down-mw0000620736
...or perhaps a new item, as it has additional tracks.
See new release at link below: https://stores.portmerch.com/southerncultureontheskids/featured-products/liquored-up-lp.html/

AllMusic is great, but...
Hi,
I love AllMusic, use it a lot and therefore have a paid subscription, but there's still one thing I really miss about it. I've made the suggestion before and I'm gonna do it again.
Please refer to the attached screenshot, which will speak for itself (it's the old website layout, but that shouldn't bother).
Kind regards, Michaël.

Please offer a tier that can block ads. Day 1
This is Day 1 of my repeated requests to offer a membership tier where I do not have to navigate ads. Please offer a subscription model. You have to offer either a subscription model or ad del. It is not honorable to spam subscribers by doing both. It's an age-old adage.

Longtime fan. But I had to break up with AllMusic.
The site is illegible due to ad placement. Put a banner at the top and bottom. Embedding them under discography is shitty practice, folks. Stop forcing ads. Place them elegantly and let the ad do the rest. It feels like a pirate streaming site now. I sent links to friends who are not users, and they always send me a message "I left, all the ads made me think I was going to get malware on my phone." At what point to you listen to customer feedback over non-effective ad revenue? Seems like a no-brainer. I come back a few

Most of your album reviews are unintelligible, incomprehensible commentaries by inexperienced people.
As a 50+ year old lifetime music fan, record buyer, songwriter and musician, I discovered long ago -- The only thing your site is good for is a reference guide for album dates, track listings, and personnel. All of which can be much easier and quickly obtainable through Wikipedia.
Your All Music reviews are mostly uneducated reports written by young people who never followed the band or have no experience with them. Perfect example is Eduardo Rivadavia's review of UFO - Phenomenon (1974) a landmark rock album https://www.allmusic.com/album/phenomenon-mw0000651879
If you surveyed thousands of UFO fans, they would likely tell you

Saxon albums
The band Saxon is one of the best and most consistent metal bands out there and the albums ''Battering Ram'' , ''Thunderbolt'', ''Inspirations'', ''Carpe Diem'', ''More Inspirations'' and the upcoming ''Hell, Fire And Damnation'' do not have ratings on your website. I hope you could listen to them and review them on the website because i would like that very much, and i think they deserve that because they're so fricking great.

develop guidelines for data entry/contributions
A database is only as good as the quality of its data and metadata (neither of which include bios or reviews). The existing process for manual data-entry has been inconsistent, incomplete and imperfect. When users follow Xperi's instruction for product submissions, data-entry can still be incomplete.
Every Xperi employee seems to use his/her judgment on how to perform data-entry, because there are apparently no guidelines. For example, data-entry can list a duo's albums under the discographies of: each artist as an individual primary artist; the duo as a performing entity but not under each artist individually; or both (cross-listing). Similarly

add Bandcamp to data feed
"Indie releases" are increasing, and more artists are self-releasing (or basically doing so with a dedicated label owned by their patron). Allmusic is unable to capture many indie releases, because they usually aren't distributed by major distributors. Since Allmusic doesn't accept data contributions from users, I suggest at least adding Bandcamp as a data feed to partially address this data need.

add ratings in search results
Since the mobile-only redesign has disabled tooltips, desktop users can no longer peek into a search result within the same tab. Tooltips previously made it possible to quickly identify which results have editor and user ratings. It was especially useful when searching an album series or versions.
Without tooltips, I have to open every result in a new tab while keeping the results tab open. Unfortunately, this workaround slows down my browser and can even crash it if its bandwidth overloads. Instead of this problematic workaround, can editor and user ratings as well as review icons (indicating an editor review)

Album Highlights - Forced Gallery View
My dearest friends, we have lost an absolutely critical feature. In any album overview section, we are now forced to use the gallery-grid view. This is frustrating switch because we can no longer see the year of the album or the allmusic rating. We now have to manually click each one? I've been using AMG since the early 2000's and changes like this make it seem less like a true database. We used to have the option to use Gallery View or List View. Please bring that back.
