Complex bottom bar is problematic

The COMPLEX bar at the bottom of the page is annoying for a couple of reasons:

1. It seems to offer nothing other than a link to your Facebook and Twitter pages and a link to Complex itself. It's taking up a lot of screen real estate to accomplish those things. Yes, I can click to minimize it to a corner, but guess what, everyt ime I click any link to load a new page, it's big again. Can you please have a cookie remember my preference? I don't care about your Facebook and Twitter. (Several minutes later...) Um, I still don't care. Please go away and stay away. (Several hours/days/months later...) I am 1000% sure that I don't need a Facebook and Twitter link, please go away and stay away.

2. Sometimes an Allmusic page partially loads, or even looks like all the visual content has loaded, but I can't click on anything yet, clicking doesn't work. Behold! the little info text at the bottom of my screen says it's still trying to load the Complex info bar. I can't click anything until the Complex bar, which I kind of hate, loads.

There are much bigger problems in the world, but you can make a very small improvement in the world by changing the way you promote your Facebook and Twitter links. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the feedback.

Complex is our primary ad partner and in order to be in their network we need to include the bar at the bottom. In addition to the Facebook and Twitter links, they also sometimes include an ad unit in the right side depending on which campaigns are running.

We also have a subscription version where users can support AllMusic and get a faster ad-free experience. It removes the Complex toolbar (and all other ads) altogether and helps the pages to load much faster https://www.allmusic.com/subscribe
