Archival featured new releases
Please consider including more archival releases among your Features New Release each week. It seems like so far in 2022 there haven't been many covered as in 2021 and before. Are there simply not as many this year worth mentioning or reviewing?

JC Burris
JC and I were friends in San Francisco when we lived in the same apartment building on Fillmore St. I have some cassette tapes that I recorded of him talking about his life. I am trying to find somewhere to donate these to so that they can be preserved. Do you have any suggestions for a place that would want them?

willing to have fewer bios for more reviews
I've praised Allmusic's bios when my expectations have been surpassed. But frankly, most bios are like encyclopedic overviews that copy info from the discography into narrative form. Rarely do bios go deeper by including a critical perspective of the artist's career development within the historical context of popular music.
So to me, the most valuable sections of a bio are its "member of" and "collaborated with" sections because these sections help me to explore the artist's other projects. As long as these sections are kept updated, then I'd be willing to not expect that the narrative bio be updated or

lowly-rated albums don't deserve full reviews
I'm suggesting time-management for your editors to review more deserving albums. They shouldn't write full reviews for one-star ratings. Rate one-star and skip the review! I don't expect reviews for albums that were rated below 3-stars, which I doubt many users would read.

UFO’s live album Stranger in the night
Since several YouTube blogs rank this album in AllTime Top 10 Live (Hard) Rock albums, as a standard procedure I checked AllMusic. To my surprise AllMusic doesn’t mention this album in the pretty long UFO Biography, on the other hand the AllMusic Critics Review starts with ‘Often overlooked live album’. Therefore my sugquestion is to mention and probably praise this album in the UFO Biography. You’re welcome & thank you.

Add an entry?
Can you add an entry for Fievel is Glauque? Saw them this past Friday and they were incredible.

Can you remove the thumbs down on the reviews? It hurts feelings or make it optional and for some you can disable?
i dont like the thumbs down thing on allmusic. it hurt my feelings. I decided to delete my post on Taylor Swift's midnights because crazy meanies keep on disliking it! It's driving me nuts!

Expand International Genres and Sub Genres
I suggest expanding / separating international music genres. African music, for example, now has several very prominent, and very distinctive sub genres in the mainstream that are not represented here (Afrobeat, Afrobeats, Afro-pop, High Life, Amapiano, etc) that it should stand alone as a category, the way Latin is a standalone genre.

review requests of underrepresented voices
Overall, Allmusic's coverage of underrepresented voices is good especially for major-label artists that other publications also cover. Major labels are rarely willing to take a chance on underrepresented voices, and their marketers may not know how to market music that doesn't fit programmed radio formats. So simply advancing from indie releases to a record label's backing is a career milestone for underrepresented voices! Sunny War has just reached that milestone, and many publications have reviewed her new release.
Jake Blount has also reached that milestone, but I suspect that your editors slighted his release because they still consider Folkways Recordings

add instruments to Advanced Search
Allmusic blogged about a "new wave of Cosmic Americana". If Advance Search adds instruments as a filter, then pedal steel guitar can be combined with filters for "album moods" (and possibly "genres & styles") to try returning albums that could exemplify that undefined style.

priority for reviews
Zac explained: "Some albums tend to be announced, released, charting, and then practically forgotten within a matter of days, so we’re trying to prioritize coverage on the ones with some staying power." Given a cut in the number of reviews, I agree with his theoretical explanation of Allmusic's priority. Unfortunately in practice, Allmusic hasn't been very good adhering to that explanation.
In terms of recording types, I'd prefer that Allmusic first prioritize reviews of original recordings (and reissues). There can be few exceptions to this first priority if a live album or cover/tribute album is exceptional. Even with original recordings

1 star user reviews
User reviews are mostly useful and helpful. However, I see way too many 1/2 start or 1 star review for albums that have average critic and user reviews of four stars or higher. Why do you allow those when clearly these people have agendas against the artist or genre and very likely didn't even listen to the album? You should at least require they explain themselves instead of one sentence comments. The latest I saw was Jessie Ware/That feels good, but there are many examples.

Mid-year best so far?
Please consider having a middle of the year "best of 202# so far...". Wouldn't need to be as extensive as the year end review, maybe a handful of albums from each of your critics. It would be a nice way to catch up with albums you highly recommend that people may have overlooked rather than wait 'til the end of the year. thanks.

Thumbs down feature
All Music must do away with the “Thumbs Down” feature as there are trolls that “thumbs down” many of the truly informative reviews just for the sake of the feature being there. The worthless reviews often stay up while I’ve had many posts removed. Is this something the admins can check on?

Put Song Recommendations Back In!
Please put the "best songs" recommendations back in for each album. That was my single most used feature. Why would you take that out?

Comments on new design
Firstly I will say that I'm your paid subscriber and that the wealth of information on your website is extremely valuable for me. I couldn't imagine my life without allmusic.com. Now about the new design, I have few comments to make while I still remember how the old site was. Search field I think is unnecessarily long, secondly sorting before was possible with a single click on a header. Now you have to click once on the pull-down menu and then 2nd time on the actual attribute. To me that sounds like double the work. Also before when I saw

add release info to Advanced Search
In Advanced Search, please add release info. I'm particularly interested in release info's "tribute" tag, because editorial coverage of tribute albums has been diminishing.

add ratings in search results
Since the mobile-only redesign has disabled tooltips, desktop users can no longer peek into a search result within the same tab. Tooltips previously made it possible to quickly identify which results have editor and user ratings. It was especially useful when searching an album series or versions.
Without tooltips, I have to open every result in a new tab while keeping the results tab open. Unfortunately, this workaround slows down my browser and can even crash it if its bandwidth overloads. Instead of this problematic workaround, can editor and user ratings as well as review icons (indicating an editor review)

add Bandcamp to data feed
"Indie releases" are increasing, and more artists are self-releasing (or basically doing so with a dedicated label owned by their patron). Allmusic is unable to capture many indie releases, because they usually aren't distributed by major distributors. Since Allmusic doesn't accept data contributions from users, I suggest at least adding Bandcamp as a data feed to partially address this data need.
