You have the wrong release year on Hound Dog/Big Mama Thorton page, so I logged in using my gmail account and changed to correct year, but it didn't take. Since there are no save buttons or instructions, you would figure it would automatically update, but it didn't. Why am I even wasting my time telling you?
It's 1953 if you want to fix it.
When a user submits a correction to override the year of a song, we count that as a "vote" to correct the year.
If multiple people submit that same year, it overrides the year we have in the database.
It's a little clunky but we were concerned about people creating mis-information if every single vote was overriding the year on file every time it was submitted.
Maybe we can come up with a way to alert people that their suggestion has been submitted.
