Clicking Back button in Compilations returns to Main Albums Page

When browsing/looking at an album in "Compilations" for an artist, if I click the "back" button, it goes back to the "Main Albums" page.
Why doesn't it go back to the "Compilations" page as it should, since I was browsing that page?

Thank you for the helpful reply. Yes, of course, that makes sense. I wasn't thinking that it was still staying on the same page URL, just showing the compilations view instead of the main albums.

It's a minor inconvenience, but it'd still be better if "back" went back to compilations :)

Hey Andrew,

The reason this happens is because when you are on the Discography tab and interact with those dropdowns (filtering the view from the default Main Albums view to Compilations), it isn't changing the page URL, it just adjusts the info displayed on the screen.

When you move to a new page and move back, it doesn't know what view you had selected previously, it just takes you back to the Discography tab without the previous view selected.

That is why it is happening, but it isn't a terrific user experience.

I'll work with our developers to see if there is a simple way to track the user's previous selection and go back to that.
