I've subscribed today, but I still see the adblocker pop-up. Emptying cache doesn't help and to my surprise I don't see my subscription in 'paid subscriptions'

In our system, we do not see a payment from you.

A question: Did you happen to pay via the payment method iDEAL?
If so, it is likely the payment will be rejected by PayPal and refunded to you by them.
We're working with them on a solution for this, but if that is the payment method you used it likely didn't actually go through.

Yeas, I've paid by iDeal. If it isn't working, then perhaps it would better to hide this option for the while? Does ordinary paypal work?

Ordinary PayPal works.

The hard part is that once we make the call to PayPal, the options they offer are out of our control.
It becomes their interface and they can choose to show whichever options they want (even if they won't work).

We're currently working with PayPal to see if we can be enabled for iDEAL but it is slow progress.
