Amazon music click through issue

When click through to Amazon Music it opens the app on my phone as expected. Sometimes it tells me that I do not have the rights to play that particular LP. I have an unlimited account on Amazon Music. If I search for the same LP directly in the Amazon Music app I can play it with no issue. Also when I click through from allmusic it plays in HD but never Ultra HD. It is almost as if the click-through to Amazon music is not using my credentials even though it clocks through to the app that I am logged in with using my unlimited account.

Thanks for this detailed feedback.

We'll take a look and see if we can better pass a user's credentials fully through.

Yes passing credentials through would be one way. But using the existing credentials would be another. What I mean is that I am already logged onto Amazon music app using my own credentials. Why would I need to use my credentials again?

To be honest, some of this is a bit out of our hands. We create a link on our page that (hopefully) sends you to a page on Amazon Music that has the correct artist or album or song.

Once we pass you over to the other site, some of the handshake is on them to validate you and use your user preference for Ultra HD.

It is possible that the Amazon link we have for the album is outdated or pointing to a page with different rights(?), but when you search for it within Amazon's system they point you to an updated entry.

Can you provide an example or two that we could troubleshoot on our end?

Thanks.
