Thanks. Your earlier instruction to delete the All Mustc cookie/cache seems to have done the trick.  I now can see the content properly.  Appreciate your following up and giving me some possible fixes.

And I also deleted the all music cookie.

Thank you.  IOS version is  18.3.2

Man, I'm really not sure.

We're not hearing reports of this from other users currently, and the fact that sometimes you need to go in and out of your house to get a page to load is baffling.

Sometimes ads are to blame for wonky behavior, but our Subscription page doesn't have any ads on it, so that shouldn't be causing issues with the site behavior.

Have you possibly tried another mobile browser like Chrome or Brave?

We'll keep poking from our end.

In the last 48 hours, every time I try to use the site via my cell phone (Apple 15 Pro), any action is followed by a blank screen.  Sometimes after a few minutes, the screen might appear.   Sometimes I have to go outside and try to come back in again.  If I eventually am able to go to an artist and try to look at his/her discography, I don't see the drop down list anymore.  Right now, I have tried to go to anything on the site and I am seeing only a white screen.  This same performance happens in every category of the site including your membership payment page.  At this moment, I have tried to go into your site and can't connect to a page -- just a white screen.   Please note I use your site all the time and this only has started this way in the last 48 hours.   As someone else noted, it does not happen via a computer connection.   However, I am using your site via cell phone almost entirely so having it fail on a cell phone means the site has lost its value.

Zac -  have you heard similar complaints about optimization on iPhones?   I no longer can get any info - breaks down after any attempt to go past home page.
is this fixable?

Hey Neal,
We are not able to reproduce this and have not gotten this complaint from others, but would like to help you.

A couple of questions:

1. Can you please let us know the version of the OS you are using?

To find the iOS version on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > About and look for the "Software Version" entry.

 Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Open the Settings app: Locate the Settings app on your iPhone's home screen and tap on it.
  • Go to General: Scroll down the Settings menu and tap on "General".
  • Select About: Within the General settings, tap on "About".
  • Find Software Version: Scroll down to the "Software Version" entry, and the number next to it indicates the iOS version installed on your device.

2. Can you please clear the cookies and cache for AllMusic on your phone?

To clear cache and cookies for a specific website on your iPhone, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then swipe left on the website and tap "Delete"

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  • Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Navigate to Safari: Scroll down and tap on "Safari".
  • Access Advanced Settings: Scroll down and tap on "Advanced".
  • Manage Website Data: Tap on "Website Data".
  • Delete Specific Website Data:
    • Swipe Left: Find the website you want to clear data for and swipe left on its name.
    • Tap Delete: Tap the "Delete" button that appears.

Zac

do you know that when you go on these links to being a subscriber, you go into the ozone, the screen goes blank, and you just wait for the site to reappear.  Not a great way to encourage subscriptions when the site fails in advance of a possible transaction.  What’s happening over there?

Hi Neal,

Can you give us more detail?
We are not seeing this behavior.

Does it happen when you click on the banner at the top of the page?

Or when you are actually using the payment buttons to enter your payment information?

Please let us know.

Hi Marcos,

Sorry to hear you are having such issues.

The ads are pretty intense, but this is a requirement for us to keep the lights on.

We do have a subscription option where for $12 a year it removes all the ads and makes the site super-fast.
