Al Goodman, who died in 1972, did not cowrite any Ben Folds Five songs
The songs "Kate" and "Smoke" on the Ben Folds Five record Whatever And Ever Amen were cowritten by Anna Goodman (Ben Folds' ex-wife). AllMusic currently lists the cowriter as the very deceased composer Al Goodman.
