Mobile Images Not Loading

Images are not loading on your mobile site including artist profiles and album artwork. I'm a paid subscriber and have tested it on multiple 3 browsers and 2 devices. Can you fix it? thanks.

We're not seeing this issue at this moment.
It is possible our data provider had a hiccup.

Are you seeing images on AllMusic mobile now?

Thanks Zac. I tested it some more and found that the mobile images return when I'm on data but still do not load when on my home wifi. Maybe something with my provider? But I'm not having an issue with any other websites, just AllMusic.

I've been having the same issue for a while now. Really affects my ability to appreciate/guage possible interest in clicking through to more info. Any update? Thanks.

Are you seeing this happen on your mobile phone?
If so, do you see it happen when you are on your home wifi but not an issue when you are on cell data?

We've had users from the EU experience this problem:

Somehow, the ISP or DNS provider is not resolving `rovimusic.rovicorp.com` properly, which is the source of most of our images. That hostname is globally available and all DNS services should be able to resolve that name. Given that this is a localized problem (possibly just this ISP?) they should be contacted to see what the problem is.

Do you know if any these are one of the ISPs you go through?

  • Stofa AS / Telia Stofa AS
  • Telenor A/S
  • Vodafone GmbH
It is possible that your personal router or your Internet Service Provider may hang onto an old version of the site code which is no longer valid.
 
You can try forcing your router to point to a more current DNS:
 
 
If the issue is that your ISP is still locked onto the old version, there's not much you can do (aside from waiting until your ISP refreshes their internal DNS).
 
Another thing you can check is to take a look at this page and let us know what the top of the page says (probably something like "gce-all-prod-ci3-autogroup-pwp2") and also let us know if any of the individual images do not appear for you.
