The Whole Oats album should not have the two individual dudes on this one release.

We'll ask for it to be cleaned up.
Since Daryl Hall's page links him as a "Member Of" Daryl Hall & John Oats, White Oats should be listed in the duo's discography instead of the solo artist's.
(Rest of this reply addresses Allmusic's metadata problems for collaborations, in general.) For many solo artists though, their "Member Of" sections aren't always linked to their duos. In some of these cases, the "Member Of" sections simply haven't been updated. In other cases, the duo's artist page hasn't been created.
For example, Kieran Kane has a solo discography and his "Member Of" section links to Kane Welch Kaplin. Nonetheless, his trio's page hasn't been updated with any discography. His trio's first album was billed to: Kieran Kane & Kevin Welch with Fats Kaplin. Their second album was billed to: Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch & Fats Kaplin. Finally, their self-titled third album settled on just: Kane Welch Kaplin.
After that trio, Kieran Kane has started a duo by collaborating with Rayna Gellert. However, neither solo artist's page links to their duo because their duo doesn't have an artist page despite having released the same number of albums as other duos (e.g. Delbert & Glen).
So I've learned to not expect a solo artist's page to always link to collaborations that he/she is a member of. A solo artist's discography tends to err in the interest of over-inclusion, while the opposite is true for the discography of collaborations that he/she is a member of.
