Can Eden Ahbez’s bio be replaced by a less biased one?
The bio for Eden Ahbez directly insults his entire style of music. The author, Richie Unterberger, is seemingly an expert in rock music but not jazz or Exotica. Is it possible to replace it with something less biased against the musician and by a more qualified author?
Relevant excerpts from the bio:
“Ahbez's modern stature rests on a 1960 album that mixed exotica album and beatnik poetry. It rates as one of the goofiest efforts in the goofy exotica genre -- and brother, that's saying something, given the stiff competition.”
and:
“That doesn't mean that his desert-island paradise trip doesn't

Let's talk about Eurodance and a subgenre called "Bubblegum dance"
I've always been confused by the "Eurodance" genre. There are some things I don't understand.
When I listen to Eurodance songs from the beginning (90's), Eurodance sounds like Italo House. Then, I looked at the naming history of Eurodance. Eurodance became known in the mid 90's, when Corona released "The Rhythm of the Night". Then I listened to the song, and it sounded like... Europop?
Some press sites and music services are also confused by this genre. Most common people think that Eurodance is Europop!
Also, from this Eurodance came a mixed genre called "Bubblegum dance", a mixed genre of

I’m trying to contact Craig Harris.
Artist Biography by Craig Harris
A founding member of Osibisa, Abdul Lasisi Amao helped bring the London-based band's exciting style of Afro-pop and funk fusion to the international stage. His most innovative work, however, was the album Aiye -- Keta, recorded in 1973 with Remi Kabaka on piano, drums, conga, rhythm guitar, Moog drum, and vocals; and Stevie Winwood (who was recuperating from an illness that had resulted in an extended hiatus from Traffic) on keyboards, guitar, and vocals. Amao and Kabaka had previously collaborated as members of Ginger Baker's short-lived Afro-Anglo band, Air Force. Although the album, which was

How is the process of associating music and moods conducted?
Hi. I'm a PhD student, and I'm using AllMusic's moods in my research. Therefore, I would like to know if there is more information about how adjectives are/were defined and how the association between a song and the respective moods is conducted. I've already researched and the most I found was information that the initial process was carried out by editors and specialists. Are there any pages that describe this process or any research? Thank you very much!

Virtually no new classical music.
Your "Best of" list is, sadly, virtually devoid of contemporary classical music. The classical recordings you mention are basically 18th or 19th century standards like Haydn and Mozart, etc. Why no new music from serious composers? Why do you ignore such an important element of our culture? One more recording by Arvo Part doesn't count. Please consider including recordings of new serious music from labels like Naxos, particularly American music. There are many interesting composers creating wonderful music, and much of it is vastly superior to the recordings you list as the "best." We need to open our ears! Thanks

Extraordinary Scintillating Debut: Lotus Kay's First Album ”Feelings On Display”
Extraordinary Scintillating Debut: Lotus Kay's First Album ”Feelings On Display”
If you could describe the overall sound and genres within 'Feelings on Display,' what would you say?
Pop, since I love catchy hooks, and since I’m a lyricist and most focused on the lyrical aspect of my music, it makes it so you can hear some rap elements, sort of a slam poetry thing. And you can hear some R&B elements since I like to keep everything within the rhythm, as well as classic singer-songwriter elements. Even a bit alternative indie, because it’s not trying to be any particular set

Custom database extract request
Can I pay someone there to take an input excel/csv file and match the singer and song to the allmusic database to get the release year? I know it won't be perfect; but , better than researching on the site, which for over 4,000 songs is going to take awhile.
