Why do you ignore K-Pop? Most albums and EPs get ignored, even from the major Korean labels.

It's such a shame K-Pop gets ignored by AllMusic. Most of the major releases (albums, EPs/mini-albums, stand-alone singles, live albums) by my favorites - f(x), Red Velvet, 2ne1, Blackpink, Chung Ha, et al - are unreviewed by AllMusic. I think most who love K-Pop have come to expect this from "Western" media, so they've created their own spaces (Reddit, FB groups, etc.). It's still quite a shame, considering how exciting KPop is.

Unfortunately the editorial staff is small and does not have the bandwidth to cover every album that comes out. We do have an editor on staff who is passionate about K-Pop but he can only cover so many albums in a week (in addition to his other tasks).

We do have the function for users such as yourself to contribute user reviews for albums, so if you wanted to spread your knowledge and interest in K-Pop that would be one way to get the word out.
