Looking for a Best Christmas Albums list or article. Surprised not to see one on the front page for the holiday season.
I guess in general, is there a way to search for past featured lists and articles? I tried using google targeted search (e.g. [“christmas albums” site:allmusic.com/blog], results were not relevant.

We flag many holiday albums with the Style "Christmas" and a list of highlighted albums can be found here: https://www.allmusic.com/style/christmas-ma0000011929/albums
We do archive the majority of our blog articles, lists and interviews and they are searchable via our search box by filtering on "Articles" in the sidebar.
To answer your question, while we have presented lists around Christmas music in the past via other channels, we have not offered a list of "Best Christmas Albums" post in the blog we publish on AllMusic.

I did a search for “Christmas” and turned up 2 articles, one a feature on a 2015 album, the other on a 2014 music video. I guess I’m surprised there aren’t more articles on Christmas music past. Would that sort of thing be outside the scope of AllMusic?

Thanks. The “Articles” search filter actually didn’t turn those up, for whatever reason. In the spirit of “teaching a man to fish,” any idea how I might have found those myself?
Those were a short-lived experiment to try to see if users would be interested in that slideshow format. We only published about four or five articles in that format but they aren't searchable via the site.
