There is an artist with the same name as mine appearing in my artist column

A female artist from the UK also has the Artist name Purdy.

I have been releasing work as Purdy since 1997 here in Australia. My first official release was on a Creative Vibes compilation and have since released six albums and many compilation tracks and remixes. You can see my work here: http://soft-records.blogspot.com/ https://purdy.bandcamp.com/album/in-transit

The UK artist Purdy, started releasing work more recently.

I don't care if she uses the same name, it's just that her releases commonly show up on what should be my releases page.

Is there some way the two artists can have their own releases page on All Music?

Hi Kevin,

Please take a look at this info on this page on how to best indicate which releases are yours and getting that information to our data provider: https://www.allmusic.com/faq/topic/splitcredits

Hi Zac

I filled in the details from the link you sent a year ago, a year ago and the problem still exists.

Essentially, if it's not on Soft Records it's not mine.

Please can we correct this.

Cheers

Kevin Purdy

Sorry. Sounds like you did everything right.

Let me poke the data team and see if anything can be done.

Thanks for following up.

Hi Zac

The situation has worsened from where we last messaged two months ago.

The situation of the UK 'Purdy' being amongst my releases was fixed, but in the process some of my titles were deleted from your database. Plus, one of my releases had its artwork and info deleted.

I contacted xperi.com and informed them in specific detail about the problem, then created and filled out the spreadsheet I was asked to submit, plus sending appropriate images and details.

There has since been no update and xperi.com has ignored my emails.

I can fill you in with further details of missing titles etc if you are unable to get the info from xperi.com

Also, there is a new release I wish to submit.

Best Regards

Kevin Purdy - Soft Records
