Checking Off Episodes and Seasons

Hello! Previously, there were checkboxes to allow us to keep track of which episode we have watched and which we haven't, and were able to check off an entire season at once to say that we've watched it. But now there are Eyes instead of checkboxes and we have to individually click each eye of each episode of each season which is incredibly tedious, especially for kids shows, some of which have 40 or 50 episodes per season. It would be wonderful if the Check-off-an-entire-season-at-once feature could please return.

It would also be great if it were possible to add a click-and-drag-to-check-off-episodes feature or some equivalent. Ex: say we binged 10 episodes of something since we last updated SideReel, but there's still 14 episodes left in the season (so I don't want to check the entire season off and then uncheck the ones I haven't watched), if I could click on one eye and drag up or down to the episode I want to stop on, I could check them all off without having to click and move my mouse and click and move my mouse 10 different times. And yes, obviously this is #FirstWorldProblems, but that's my feedback.

Thank you very much! I've been using the sight for a few years and I used the app when it was still going, and I really appreciate it. :)

You can now mark entire seasons as watched on the episode tab of the TV Show pages.

We're currently working on a method to mark all episodes in a season as watched with a single click.

Hi there!

I agree with the above and have also missed the “watched season button from before”

One more suggestion: when I want to mark an episode as watched, I often automatically click on the red tracked check-symbol, simply because it’s so prominent by being red and being the first thing I look at. Then I realize I have just unfollowed the show, I re-follow it and am then searching for the eye which kind of blends in with the light grey background. I feel like the eye could be highlighted more (such as red when I watched, and then turns green when marked watched and light grey when the episode hasn’t aired yet or something like that) rather than the check symbol being red, because obviously I’m tracking it — otherwise it wouldn’t show up in my tracker.

Thanks for all your hard work! The website is great and one can tell how much work goes into it... 👏
